Total cholesterol was 167.1 mg/dL with BPF Gold® versus 197.7 mg/dL with placebo, LDL-C was 80.8 versus 96.0 mg/dL, and HDL-C was 68.2 versus 54.4 mg/dL. Triglycerides did not differ significantly.

IIEF increased from 12 ± 4 to 18 ± 3, while Doppler-measured peak systolic velocity increased from approximately 22 ± 6 to 29 ± 5 cm/sec. EndoPAT measurements also showed significant changes in vascular responsiveness following BPF 47%.
